Dr. Ren obtained Outstanding Youth Science Foundation of NSFC in 2020. He earned a bachelor's degree(2003) and a Ph.D.(2009) in Geophysics at Peking University. Later, he successively served as a postdoctor and an associate researcher in University of Science and Technology of China. He joined SUSTech in 2016 and won the Liu Guangding Geophysical Youth Science and Technology Award in 2019. Currently, he serves as a committee member of Professional Committee on Seismoelectromagnetism, Seismological Society of China as well as a committee member of Professional Committee on Geo-electromagnetism, Chinese Geophysical Society. His research interests mainly focus on seismoelectric coupling and surface wave dispersion. So far, he has hosted 6 national research projects, and published more than 30 journal articles and 2 book chapters.
